Queber MCP lets an authorized MCP client work with Queber Desktop running on your computer. Use it when an AI assistant or local tool should prepare Reddit posting tasks, inspect job status or choose browser profiles while Queber performs the actual browser automation locally.
What MCP can do
The MCP surface can expose Queber status, account context, browser profiles, job information, target checks and supported automation actions according to the scopes you authorize. Queber runs Reddit posting and Reddit post checks. Queber still needs a connected browser profile and an available desktop app to run a job.
Basic setup
Install Queber Desktop, sign in and connect Dolphin Anty, AdsPower or GoLogin. Then open the MCP page to review the current MCP endpoint and authorization flow. Add the Queber MCP server URL to your MCP client and complete the authorization step when prompted.
Typical Reddit posting flow
The client checks Queber status, lists available browser profiles, prepares a Reddit posting request and sends it to Queber. Queber queues the local job and runs it through the selected profile. You can inspect progress and retained failures in Queber Desktop. If several tasks are due together, the local queue may run them sequentially.
Checking Reddit posts
To check posts after publishing, the client calls queber_job_run with automationType post_read and the post links in platformData.reddit.post_read.links, then calls queber_job_get until the job completes. resultData.reddit.post_read has one item per link: whether the post is live, removed or not found, its score, upvote ratio and comments, and views for posts of the profile that checks, rounded the way Reddit shows them. Each check of your own post adds one view on Reddit, and the job fails only when no link could be checked.
Security and permissions
Only authorize clients you trust. Scopes limit what the client can read or ask Queber to do, but a posting-capable client can still create tasks that act through your connected browser profiles. Revoke access from the account area if a client should no longer use Queber.
MCP is not cloud execution
MCP creates and controls work, but Queber Desktop still executes Reddit automation on your computer. Scheduled jobs require the app, browser provider and selected profile to be available. For direct HTTP integration, read the Reddit REST API guide.
